November Topic 2: Giving Thanks
The United States celebrates Thanksgiving this month. Originally, it was supposed to be a holiday to recognize the good things we have and give thanks for them. Canada has a similar holiday celebrated in October, and other nations also celebrate similar holidays at various times during the year.
Option 1: What are you thankful for this year? Tell us about the blessings you've received or the tragedies you've avoided... or tell us about the little things that you're grateful to have, that are often overlooked.
Option 2: Does your culture or nation have a special holiday for giving thanks? What is it called, and how did it get started?
Remember... it can be funny or serious, poetry or prose, long or short. The prompt is just to get you started - your job is to be creative and have fun sharing your own original style of writing

The holiday season is upon us, and regardless of your culture or beliefs, everyone has some family traditions about one holiday, celebration, or other special day. So, it's time to share!
